Rise/Sunbreak was...okay to be honest...why? Well.... Freedom was my first. I honestly loved, hated tracking the monster. And stocking on paintballs/psychoseruem in case the monster went to areas that werent common, was the WHOLE, part of hunting. Rise/Sunbreak ruined that by automatically giving you the current location 24/7, of the monster your hunting. The battle...your pretty much invincible and can land BACK, on your feat, 90% of the time, after the monster sends you flying. And 90% of the battle, is you using wire bugs. And id rather be playing world over rise, anyday.

I know I'm really late here, but there is one small bit of misinformation in this video. The midair evade DOES give you invincibility frames. It doesn't give you that many, but you do have some. I frequently use the midair evade to dodge through monster roars even when I don't have earplugs or any other roar protection, and I have evaded through other attacks such as beams.

Oh let me do it too. Gen 1: Annoying. Gen 2: Annoying. Gen 3: Too easy and some sadly forgotten features. Gen 4: Style over substance. World: Perfection. Rise: Like Gen 4. Frontier: As exciting as slapping a monster in an arena for 20 minutes in a foreign language can be. Wilds: Will be perfection. I just know it.

I generally love all the MH games i played, but if i had to pick a favorite, either 3U or 4U. 3U due to nostalgia reasons, innovation, and introducing some of my favorite monsters ever. 4U because of its progression, roster size, and introduction of CB (my current main) and Insect Glaive. I havent played GU, Frontier or Rise/Sunbreak yet, but they seem like worthy contenders

I remember being actually terrified by Khezu back in the day, playing MHF2 on my PSP. The eeriess when running through the empty, snowy mountain biom, only hearing wind and my own steps, until walking into a cave with Khezu dropping down on me from the ceiling, was quite fucking scary. Mind you I was about 10 at that time. Me and the friend I played with also wiped hundreds of times fighting White Fatalis and Yama Tsukami... good times.

I disagree with MH3 Ultimate for the WiiU, it was absolutely trash. They replaced the legendary Loc Lac city with a stupid port.

Only got into MH with World and I have played Rise since then, which felt like such a downgrade. I lost it when he just simply said "babysitter" lmao. World is definitely in my top 10 favorite games of all time. Currently replaying it with a fresh character and a new weapon and my god, I'm having so much fun again! Just did the part where you have to beat all 3 Elder Dragons and I think Xeno is next? Not sure. Excited to jump back into Iceborne and MAN am I hyped for Wilds. Probably my most anticipated game since Elden Ring
